





Hybrid Racing Cold Air Intake for DC5/EP3/EM2 & ES1 K Swap
If you’re hunting for real power, not noise, this Hybrid Racing RSX 3-inch intake system is the one you actually feel in the seat. Our Hybrid Racing RSX intake is built around a 3-inch tube and high-flow velocity stack filter to feed your K the air it needs. It bolts into the 2002–2006 Acura RSX, 2002–2005 Civic Si (EP3), and 2001–2005 K-swapped Civic (non-Si) and doesn’t require battery relocation on most RSX setups.
This is a true cold air setup, not a short ram dressed up with marketing. The Hybrid Racing DC5 cold air intake and Hybrid Racing EP3 intake kit were developed around RBC intake manifold intake and RRC manifold cold air intake layouts, and they work best with a Hybrid Racing intake for 70mm TB or larger. Paired with our Hybrid Racing velocity stack filter and DC5 high-flow air filter design, we’ve seen 5–10hp (roughly up to 10% in some setups) over typical short rams across the powerband. Lower inlet temps mean denser air, cleaner MAF/pressure readings, and more repeatable power lap after lap or pull after pull.
The kit includes a replacement radiator hose for proper clearance around the Hybrid Racing silicone air intake piping on most RSX and RSX K swap air intake layouts. If you’re building a Hybrid Racing K swap intake setup for a Civic or an EP3 intake for power gains, this intake gives your K the airflow it needs without turning the bay into a hacked mess. 2002–2006 Acura RSX (without brake cooling ducts) – Ideal for an RSX power gain intake or RSX K swap air intake build
2002–2005 Honda Civic Si (EP3) – May require battery relocation when used as a Hybrid Racing EP3 intake kit
2001–2005 Honda Civic Non-Si (K-Swapped) – May require bracket and battery mods when used as a Hybrid Racing K swap intake
Important Notes:
Requires RBC or RRC intake manifold
Requires 70mm or larger throttle body (perfect if you’re running a Hybrid Racing intake for 70mm TB or bigger)
Trimming of the LH fender liner may be required for proper Hybrid Racing DC5 cold air intake routing
Washer bottle removal or relocation is needed
OEM Type R brake ducts and fog lights may need modification
Radiator hose fits K20A/A2/A3/Z1; may not fit K20Z3/K24
